Just Imagine

Imagine that one day I (a guy just round the corner) will declare that I will charge you so much to advertise for your product, how many will be interested in the deal. I know half of you will be laughing at the very idea. The only way to get the deal, as we know are

1. I am a film star
2. I am a sports start
3. I am a model / celebrity

Some one thought he can get the deals by just being a simple guy. The concept itself displays the confidence this person has. Before you get confused, look at this.

And WOW... it is more than successful now with more than 300 days booked and more than 6 months calender advertising booked. What a simple way...

There are times where we keep imagining that we can start business, do some thing new in life and most of the times we keep them off and they remain just a thought. There are many success stories and I admit that there are many failures as well. But they too made a story.

Before I started reading this shirt page, I saw another interesting venture at rediff news. It was amazing. Very simple concept, some thing that every one looks for, but attempted by none. And now it is one of the hottest TATA NEN Startups. Go to the site and you will find may success stories about what you have been thinking, you have planned or you have left as thought. To win, to achieve and to mark your step, what you need is just the idea and confidence. It is just passion and life is yours.

I too left many thoughts on road riding a bike, on rail track while travelling alone.

Hopefully we would pick up the orphaned thoughts and see the dream grow real in future.

An Oscar winning plot

If you are looking for inspiring story, sorry. This is life of a person who might have once dreamed that her life would be an inspiring story on its own. But the plot laid for her was all together different.

I used to wonder why the word plot is associated to life. I thought it should be tale. This is one of the plot that tells me why.

Zana probably planned for a very different tale for Preethi while working for the film and believed in the tale when their work got recognition at the Oscars. Mann traoch, Gott lauch. And the tale turned into plot. Nothing different happened, as if Born Into Brothels didn't happen, except that she had a better play time that other kids around, playing with the camera.

From what Preethi says, it seems that the only left out option is Mann has to lauch when Gott traoch. I am new to Yiddish, so don't hunt me for grammar mistakes.

When Slumdog Millionarie has won applauds, criticisms arouse saying that it portrayed India in deteriorating way. I would request the critics to first stop the deteriorating things from happening in real and then think about deteriorating things shown on reel.

The whole story... Preethi being Born Into Brothels even after getting recognition from Zana's Born Into Brothels would definitely make another Oscar winning plot. Any takers...?
