Thinking Hitler

As soon as my day starts I pray God, please see that I am not stuck in any traffic jam today. And he seldom listens. Nothing to blame on Him... how can He help if none keeps his vahan on the traffic rules track.

The day b4 yesterday night we were discussing the same in our room. Two answers came, one from my room mate, Mano and another from me(obviously).

I found a Hitler way. Put people fear to death and they will never break the rule. Put laser beam that cuts any thing passing thru it. It gets on with the red light singal so that none breaks the signal. Lane discipline says that if u r to take left turn, keep left; if you are going straight keep to centre of the road and similarly keep right to take right turn. This left and right margins near the turns should be ruled by dividors or els our lasers so that none will cause inconvinience or blockage of traffic. These lasers can be controlled for allowing emergency vehicles do their duty. Put these at random signals and see people working right at all places.

Seems it got more evil in the idea, Mano liked to ammend it.

Mano suggested that there should be sensors fitted to every vehicle which stops the vehicle on seeing the red light on. Similarly for road discipline, if he is after the left line he is not allowed to turn left and same for right. For all rules have the sensors programmed for all kinds of rules. So you have sensors on the vahan box.

What if the sensors got some prob? People get acquinted with leaving the job to sensors and dont care of any rules which leads to accidents. Or say you know where the sensor is located, (coz u have to if it has to get repaired) you suggest ur friends to spoil the sensor to rule the road. Now whats it, same thing back.

What if lasers get spoiled?? No probs, people dont know it any way and if one gets spoiled it doesnt mean that all dont work. I know its idiotic to have a killing spree signals as well as sensors controlling us. All this directing that technology is ruling us and not we ruling the technology. For any thing to happen its in the people that the change is necessary. Until then its me who blames you and you blaming me and spoiling the day of both of us.

All hail Hitler ;)

Making Things Happen

When I was in my final year of graduation, I thought a lot about how to contribute my part for the society. With every movie I watch, I feel like becoming a hero. That night I promise myself that am going to play my part actively in the society, fight against the evils. And when I do convey such ideas to my friends, I hear from them that they too believe in my words.

That was three years back. Last month I was going to my friends place on my bike. A traffic police stopped me for license and other docs. I don't have any and I escaped by bribing him, who would like to surrender his bike and roam around police station. Right??

Few days after the incident I was talking to one of my old friends and he asked me about how my contribution is going on. That moment I felt that things are going very bad, I thought to be a fighter but am myself against the good. That night I couldnt sleep, it is the day I woke up. But from that moment, I still did nothing as a part of contribution. May be am lazy and I fear for the consequences. I donno, but am not behaving a citizen.

I think most of the people have the same things happening with them. Every one feels they are going to kick great contributions and change the society. Today I read about the BLANK NOISE project. A womans thought to fight against an evil that is prevailing from centuries, and its 300 members strong now.

Muskaan is one of such NGO started by a Dr Prosenjit Gupta of IIIT Hyderabad for educating the people in the slums around. Though not a person who can speak the native language, telugu, he is going great with convincing and education children.

If you cant start a war, you can atleast start with an ongoing war.
